Portugal. The Man announce North American headlining tour

Portugal. The Man released a new album, Woodstock, last month, and just last week announced an appearance at a new destination festival from My Morning Jacket slated for 2018. Now, the veteran indie rockers have mapped a new headlining tour of North America to kick off in early October of this year.

These dates follow an already massive slate of dates that will find the band touring both North America and Europe. The new dates will cover even more of North America and will also include a few Mexico dates, as well as the band’s slot at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Select dates will find the band joined by the likes of Cut Copy, Lido, and Maybird.

Guns N’ Roses expand 2017 North American tour with 11 new dates

As Guns N’ Roses’ Not In This Lifetime reunion tour enters its second year, the demand remains strong. Today, the hard rock legends added 11 new dates to their upcoming North American arena tour, including a third date at NYC’s Madison Square Garden, a second date at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre, and a second date at Los Angeles’ The Forum (and third scheduled show in the city overall, as they’re also set to play the STAPLES Center).

Other new stops include Newark, New Jersey; Washington, DC; Hartford, Connecticut; Louisville, Kentucky; Nashville, Tennessee; Sacramento, California; and San Diego, California. See the fully updated itinerary below.

As previously reportedDeftones, Royal BloodLiveZZ Top, and Sturgill Simpon are among the support acts set to join Guns N’ Roses over the course of their North American tour.

LCD Soundsystem announce comeback album, American Dream

The 10-track LP arrives in September.

LCD Soundsystem’s comeback album is released on September 1 and will be titled American Dream.

The 10-track album is the first from James Murphy’s band since 2010’s This Is Happening, and features previously released tracks ‘American Dream’ and ‘Call The Police’.

Dälek announce seventh album and North American tour

Their first album on Ipecac since 2009.

Newark experimental hip-hop outfit Dälek will release their seventh album, Endangered Philosophies, on September 1. A North American tour alongside Daughters will precede it in June.

The album finds the trio returning to the Ipecac label, with whom they released four albums between 2002-09 before taking a hiatus, then returning with 2016’s Keep Reading
